Trip Overview

Package Details

Along the Tamor there are very few villages and limited agricultural areas. Its shores are dotted with pristine white sandy beaches which are ideal for camping. The Tamor offers spectacular white water. This trip involves a three-day trek through the foothill of Himalayas. Combining the best of Nepal's rafting and trekking, this is an unforgettable journey. The river well earned its name, 'the jewel of the east'.Tamur, a major river in eastern Nepal begins from Mount Kanchenjunga (8,586 meters) joining Sapta Koshi later on. Guarded by sharp valley walls, it becomes Nepal's sixth largest river and one of the best whitewater river trips in such remote area.
